The Motor Vehicle Division LMOU had not been negotiated for what looked to be decades. The LMOU referred to PS Forms, which have been discontinued for years. The Team was able to successfully negotiate annual leave percentages instead of "slots", increasing available leave for our TTO drivers. They also removed unfavorable language requiring the closing or removal of any unbid leave slots after the conclusion of the choice bidding period.
The Negotiation Team was able to successfully negotiate 17% leave for each Customer Service Station or defined Cluster for the majority of the year, removing the language for in the LMOU requiring a strict eight (8) "slots" for the entirety of the city, with a citywide bid structure. Instead of the language stating "the week between Christmas and New Year's, it now definitively defines the week of Christmas for Choice vacation percentages.
In the Maintenance Craft, leave for MPEs has been separated by Tour, to reflect the President's previous agreement. We fixed some minimal errors and changed 3971 submissions and approvals for annual leave bidding to the time of Choice/Non-Choice selections.
All LMOUs were updated to include favorable language supporting percentages instead of restrictive set leave slot structures.
